TL: rumbling from my sub dont know from where
i have an 07 tl type s im trying to put in one 12 power acoustik fubar and i hooked everything up to the factory stereo and i got my signal from the rear deck speakers but inoticed that when i have my car running and i have the volume on low i get a rumbling from my sub i already tried changing my signal source to the rear factory subwoofer and i also tried changing my remote but i still get the rumbling can anyone tell me what it can be
You could be experiencing feedback. What happens is the sub produces pressure in the trunk which moves the rear speakers which produces a signal that is sent to the sub. I've also seen this happen when closing a door. Try getting the signal from the front speakers and see if the problem goes away.
i already tried changing the rca wire and my ground source i noticed that the rublimg changes with my rpms since it only rumbles when the engine is running once i get past 2000 rpm the rumbling stops and if i disconect the rca wires from the output cinverter it stops so it must be sumthing with the cars factory audio system im guessing
