Replacing factory interior speakers

I would like to replace the interior speakers (6.5 in the doors and the 6x9's in the back) in my CL but I do not have the money to spend on components. Would it even be worth putting in some coaxial speakers? Will I even notice a difference between stock and some resonably priced coaxials? I have an after market headunit and that made a huge difference but now I feel like the stock speakers are just about to take their last breath.
Please let me know what you guys think. And if some of you went this route instead of components, what speakers did you replace the stock with?

i think you have to go with the component speakers. if you buy the regular coaxial speakers, you look back at it and regret it. trust me.

try ebay.

I'm not familiar with the CL's system, but if its anything like the TSX then there shouldn't be a problem using coaxials in place of components. Make sure you get well built speakers (i.e. rubber surround, not foam, poly cone, not paper) with ratings that match (approximately) the output power of the stock amp.

If i were you i would just leave the 6x9's stock and spend the money on a good set of components for the front and a good amp. You wont regret it!
