Removing Interior 2000 TL
I am in the early lanning stages of upgrading the audio system on my 2000 TL. I am looking for lessons learned on removing interior of my TL. I planning to remove the subcover and there seems to be some kind of catch just in front of the car seat tether. I don't want to force it out. Looking from the trunck I don't see anything, but don't want to crack this either.
Also I am looking to see if anyone has molded any fiberglass replacements for the front door panel that covers the wiring for the side mirrors to hold a tweeter? Are there any gotcha's on the door panels?
I have some other questions I haven't seen addressed in the forum, but this is enough for now.
Thanks.

i dont know what you mean about the subcover, but if you want to sway the stock sub for a aftermarket one, i woul suggest looking elsewhere, its a huge project and if done in correctly your rear dash may collapse
as far as tweeters, the sail panel mounted tweeters are not flush mounted. they stick out and the mount is screwed to the plastic. personally i cut a circular hole to the right of the door handles and mounted my tweeter flush.
