MISC: Remote turn-on, amp, and parking brake bypass.

Remote turn-on, amp, and parking brake bypass.
I have a Pioneer DVD 4300, and have installed a relay to act a parking brake bypass. Now I plan to install an amp, which i assumed you wire to the connection point of the remote turn-on from the HU and the one from the relay.
My concern is I have been told that remote turn-ons are meant to only turn on equipment, NOT power a relay.. that it could burn out the HU. After that I was warned by another source to install a diode to revent a kickback from the relay to the HU.
What is the best way to wire this and not risk burning up the HU.... or at least minimize the chance?.
- Just wire the amp remote and bypass power at the same spot as the HU's like I thought?
- Wire it like described above, but install a diode on the bypass relay? or
- Install two relays, first one to the bypass, and second off of that for the amp (only installing one but afraid of frying something due to powering the relay)?
- A different way? (I want to avoid toggle switches if I can).
I am relatively new to installs, so pardon the noobish posts. I just wonder what I need to be concerned about and if the the first option is all that's needs to be done, or if an alternative is best.
Thanks for any help!

Relays are comonly used on the remote or amp turn on to produce more output for multiple amplifier systems. You should have no problem with a simple relay. Some relays have an internal diode. Thats why pin 85 is usually ground and 86 is the 12v trigger source.
