Remote Subwoofer Level Controller

Hello everyone. I just bought an 04 TSX without Navi and am looking to upgrade the sound system. I still have all of my components from my previous car:

- Rockford Fosgate Power 551S 2-channel Amp
- Rockford Fosgate Power 851X 4-channel Amp
- Two sets of 6.5" MB Quart Premium components
- 2 JL Audio 10W3v2 subs

I've been searching through past posts to find the best method for getting clean amp signals and it seems that mercman's harness is the hot ticket for those with balanced differential inputs on their amps. Luckily, both of my amps have this so I am set in this regard. So if I were to buy one of these harnesses, I would connect the 4 balanced head unit outputs my 4 channel amp, and use the amp pass through to connect the 2 channel sub amp.

My problem is that my subwoofer amp doesn't have remote level control capabilities and this is a feature that I really want to have. Somebody suggested the JL Audio CL-RLC as a good option for this but it seems kind of pricey for what it does. Does anybody know of a less expensive option out there? Also, since my amp has balanced inputs and a signal pass through, would the pass through output be balanced or unbalanced? I've tried to find the answer online but have been unsuccesful so far.

I would really appreciate any help you guys can offer. And mercman, I am really interested in purchasing one of your harnesses but I dont think I can PM you since I am a new member.

I would recommend the JL one you mentioned.
