Relocating the DVDRom Player

I will have very detailed pix of this process as well as the dvd/vid hack for playing an alternate vid source on the factory nav screen. this is what ive done so far and documented...at least you have pix for now...more to come

i will...i stopped working on it until i find a coax cable to extend the antenna and might as well wait until i get the rgb converter in....hopefully at the end of the week

knowing some of my forum bro's like urself would be searching for this part, i asked them if they had anymore in stock....they dont..i got the last one...sorry

i did a search on yahoo.com and google.com on avc rgb1 and found alot of places that sell it, since this was the cheapest i found and they are located here in texas, i gave them a try and went ahead and ordered it.

Looks good, but why did you do all that work just to re-locate the unit? The only reason I can think of is because you plan on installing a sick system in the trunk

you are partially correct....im gonna try to fit 4 10" subs and 2 amps w/minimal trunk space taken up, cause i travel alot..!

it seems that RG-174U is the standard on gps antenna's, so i bought 3 meters worth and will try it out tonight...i'll let ya'll know how it goes.
