i agree. im not feelin this one either. both installs look clean but they just look cheap. i think you should stick to headrest tv's. take this one out and put it in your headrest.

Hey, I respect that you're trying things, but when you post the pics you get the responses, that's all.The bracket kinda looks flimsy, but my biggest objection is that cable. You should run it into the console at that point, no draping down liek that.

I agree about headrests, but you could also do a fold-down in the ceiling. It would look better because in that position the LCD is gonna get a lot of light from the sides, and it won't look as good to the viewer.

i love this setup the most. problem that i have is i have ltos or passangers and doing this kills the heat in the back. if i could have a heat source back there then i would do this in a heartbeat

the only thing i got to say is that unless you have kids to watch it in the back seat i think screens in the back of the car are a big waste of money.
i find it so interesting how so many people these days seem to get sucked into the bragging rights scene.
it seems like the more worthless video screens you can install into a car where no one will ever watch them just to impress your friends is just like a disease.
what i think people fail to realise is that its cool for about a month. then the reality sets in how much money you wasted just so your homies think your pimp!
well it's your money burn it however you like! i just dont understand why an 18 year old owner of a car would need that in the back seat. nor do i get why one would run a video game like a PS2 in your car.
sure i get you have friends that may enjoy it but when i have friends in the car we usually talk or enjoy music. besides i would rather play video games and watch DVD's in the comfort of my living room with 7.1 prologic surround sound on my new 60" HDTV grand WEGA LCD projector television. not some 7" LCD screen!
oh well to each his own!
man if you only knew now what i already learned....

I take no offense to your opinion at all, everyone has there own opinion and thats what makes the world great. But to explain my reason it has nothing to do with impressing my friends at all. I am building a car that I am doing to be entering in shows. That is the reason I am doing all of the screens.

why do people buy HUGE houses and live alone?
why do people buy 10 cars but only drive one?
why do females buy 100000 pairs of shoes and wear them for 10 minutes?

the tv thing isnt to impress people. its more of a hobby. also, a 34 yr old shouldnt be sayin "homies" and "pimp".
