I have this same problem in my Acura Legend and have been looking for a fix for quite some time now. I have been thinking of Dynamat but then again I don't want to block the bass coming from the trunk. I may just find a way to port it though.... I'd appreciate some input on this as well.

take the rear deck off...lay down some thick felt material, then reapply the deck.

it might be the 3rd brake light hitting the glass. try loosening the screws of that light from the trunk, push it towards the front of the car then tighten the screws. if it still makes noise, try putting something inbetween the brake light and the galss like felt or something. if it still rattles, then it's something else, probably the rear panel itself vibrating. you might need to put something like dynamat. but i'd try moving the brake light a little forward first.
