Ready to install my Alpine IVA-900 but need opinions on install
Where would be a good place to put the brain? I was thinking 3 places on my 03 CL-S, trunk, under the steering column, under the driver seat. Any suggestions or better spots, please advise, thanks...

speaking of which, i just picked one up for a ill deal from our former member Lou. He had it under the seat. It all depends on what other stuff you have in the car with it. I will be putting it in the trunk becuase I want to minimize the number of wires i have running through the car. the brain will be next to the eq brain so i can run short rca's

FYI - if you take out the seat to install the brain...some members have had their Check Engine Lights come on, and then reset by the dealer...

Oh yea, I ran the wires through the center console and put a tiny slice on the inside under the passenger seat to run the wires under the seat track.. If that makes sense..

Also find the smallest power inverter possible.. I also ran the power inverter wires through a small slit under the seat tracks and connected it to the cig lighter wires in the center console..
