Rattle problem..

So I searched and did everything forum advised me to do. I had rattles from the upper license plate area. So I moved down the trunk hook and rattle was quieter, but it was still there. Then I decided to get gas pressure system to hold up the trunk and took out the springs. And that didn't help the rattle to go away.

And now, I am hearing rattle from the carpet area under the rear windshield. I held it down with my hands and the rattles went away from that section.

Anyone know how to fix these two rattles for good?

I have 05 TSX by the way.

Either 3rd BL, could also be the deck, try the brake light first, if that doesn't fix the issue, take your rear deck off and sound dampen it with some dynamat or fatmat

you mean between 3rd brake light and the windshield?

if that's what you guys are referring to, that's not it. I tried putting papers in there and it still has the same rattle.

getting the sub installed was one thing, and the rattle is another...

sigh, i'm still trying to get rid of the rattling problem and the sound is now coming from 3rd brake light. I think I need to remove the carpet around it but I'm a newb and worried about messing up the carpet. Can anyone briefly tell me how to remove it?

Open your trunk and locate the seat belt plastic holster, that thing is known to rattle in the tsx's. It should be a squarish black box near the speakers
