Radio removal for an 03 CL-S 6 speed

So I got a great deal on a CL-S in Queens and made sure everything worked before I took it home. No problem. However, I didn't test the sound with music that I was familiar with. So after realizing that something wasn't quite right I put on some newer Metallica that completely splits the guitars among the two channels, and sure enough there was only one guitar playing. This is very obvious in the Astronomy cover where the two guitars play leads a third apart, but I digress.

I know what's wrong: somebody had this thing wired with aftermarket equipment and the dealer did a half assed job putting the stock radio back in, so every speaker in the car is playing one channel. This would almost be tolerable if it were "mono," but it's just one channel and it's driving me to hate my "new" car.

How do I rip the damned radio out so I can fix this? Or should I just drive back to Queens and crash the car into the dealership that sold it to me?

I suppose this question could be applied to 3.2 TL owners as well, or maybe even the whole forum, I don't really know.

theres probally a DYI on here but, pull your arm rest open, pull console wood off starting at the arm rest.then look inside your arm rest there is a couple of screws that you take out.then unscrew the screw you see where the woods were in the console.the rear half will come off.then take off the sides of the console.pop trim ring around the shifter off.unscrew the other screw in the console and radio.Put your car in drive or as far awy from the radio as you can no should should be able to get the radio out without scraping your shifter knob. You might also have to pull on the dash bezel where the ac controls are to pop the clips to get the extra clearence needed to remove.
I havent removed my radio in a couple months but thats what I remember.

This is the link I used to take out my radio.

Link shows step by step of what screw to remove. Shouldn't take you more than 1 hour to take apart and put back together
