I recently installed an 01 cl radio into a legend. After shutting off the car and coming back later, the radio asks for the security code again.

the legend had two security wires, one 'in' and the other 'out'. the cl radio only had one, 'in'.

is there a way to add a constant power so the memory doesn't get reset?

 

any gurus know what to do?

the 2nd gen cl and tl share the same radio. hence, audio and video sub-category.

 

Not getting much traction here though. Technically it's an "Off Topic" sub-forum - not model specific; not even Acura specific.


Try the "Problems and Fixes" sub-forum for the CL and/or 2G TL.
