if you dont have Nav, you can keep that silly tray that goes over the factory radio, and then the space around a single DIN wont be so big. I am in the process of doing my face this week. I have a sheet of burl wood ABS that matches the rest of the fake stuff in the car, and i will be making the face with this.

i think i did once see a three din jobber. dont recall if the 3rd piece was a full DIN or only a half size DIN, but there are plenty of thin EQs. OR why not just go with the Pioneer Premier DEH940MP. Its got a built in 13 band EQ with spectrum analyzer and will generate a flat curve automatically in about 4 min. Its also got fully adjustable DSP with listening position. and if that wasnt enough it will play MP3s, WMA's, it has built in adjustable high pass filters for front, rear, and sub outs, not to mention 6.5volt RCA outputs, and its got a cool organic liquid crystal display that will play video animation you can upload to it.
