Radio Install
Wzup! I just bought a 1999 3.2 TL w/ the wood grain kit but can't find an install kit for an aftermarket radio. Can anyone help? I am looking to keep the wood grain. I'm also looking for some chrome 18" or 19" rims. Holla back!
You'd better do a search for this before you get flamed to death and chatised for being a 'Newbie'. This topic has been discussed over and over. There is no storemade kit for the TL. You can make a kit like I did or you might be able to buy something soon from a member on this site Streeteffectz who is going to be trying to make a limited production run of kits. I have no details about it but seach for it and you will find his post.
by the way, if you make your own kit (I am not sure what you skill level of installion is - i was an installer for 15 years) you should go to selectproducts.com to get the sheet of woodgrain ABS plastic that you will need to match whats in the car now. Its about $20 or so.
I used to have pics posted of my install (i have a Premier DEH9400 mounted nice and flush to the dashkit I made) but they arent up anymore.
