questions on adding sub/amp

I'm thinking about adding a rockford amp and jl 10w3 to the stock bose system. All I need is a little extra bass, I'm not ready to change the whole system out just yet. But my question is, by adding the sub/amp, will it have any adverse effects on the system as a whole? Any comments/things I should know before doing this?

I can't find directions on wiring from battery to trunk for amp and sub. I have 1000W amp what gauge wiring do I need what kind of wiring kit? I read about how to get it through firewall and under door sills and under read seats and how to get to the bose amp and tap into the rear speakers, but what kind of connection to the battery? how do I connect it to the battery? With what kind of kit?

thanks

the fuse should be just the same as what the total amps of the fuses on ur amp is or just over so if theres two 70a fuses on ur amp get a 150a fuse for it in line from the battery to the amp
