Question Question on hooking up wires

This might be a dumb question, but I got an 5.6" raw LCD screen that fits in the paper tray slot. I just need to make a little caddy for it. My question is how do I hook it up to the power source? Do I hook it straight to the battery, or to the fuse box, or tap into the power socket next to the coin box? The screen needs a Power Input/Consumption of DC12V +- 10%, <850mA. If I need to run it to the fuse box, how do I do it and which fuse would I use? Any help would be appreciated.

There are 4-5 spare male stabs in the bottom of the drivers fuse block, 2 of them are constant and the other 2-3 are switched- verify with a voltmeter. Simply hook onto on of the spare stabs of your choosing with a female connector then run to your screen. In that same wire you should install an in-line fuse holder and 1A fuse for protection. Costs about $2 from Radio Shack or other elect store.
