Question About Relays

Some quick information so you know how my question applies...

I have a '05 TSX w/ navigation, and am currently running Dom's converter with a dvd/media player and a Blitzsafe Aux V2.x (in order to keep XM) for audio.

I would like to...

Add an additional audio/video source that would take precedent over the navigation and/or media player output via a trigger. I know that Dom's unit is already wired for a backup camera using a + trigger, and I believe this would "automatically" switch the video feed on the nav screen to this input.

My question regards the audio portion. I know I can use the same + trigger with a relay in order to get the audio to work with it, but I'm not sure how this would be accomplished with my current setup. I'm not looking for a ton of work here, so any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Also, if I decided to eventually install a backup cam, would I have to install an additional relay to the video so that when I go into reverse, that take precedent over everything else?

Sorry if these questions are dumb and confusing... I'm not a total electronic noob, but I'm not "educated" either.

There is no easy way to force selection of an audio source in the HU.

Eldude... thanks for the quick reply. I figured as much. This new audio/video source is a bluetooth kit. Raytel just released an interface for the Tellphone 5000 that outputs information via composite video... I've read a lot of your posts in various threads regarding the mute pin (since we don't have ISO connectors)... has anyone figured out how to do this yet? Most of those threads just ended up dying...
