Question about Alpine in-dash MP3 players
Well, it looks like I'll be tapping the bank account for the Alpine IVA-D100 monitor. But I was wondering how user-friendly the MP3 player is... I haven't found many reviews online for this unit, but I'm sure Alpine uses the same technology for all their latest gen MP3 players.
My current MP3 player is a Kenwood that I bought in 2001. It's pretty annoying to use because I have to burn all my MP3's in iso9660 level 2 and it can't read joliet filenames...
So how are the late gen Alpine MP3 players. Does it read joliet filenames? As well as ID3 tags? Ease of use?
Thanks!

personally i love my alpine mp3 player... it can read the filename or the id3 tag.... i have burned my disk numerous different ways and they always work... i have even went as far as to just burn it as a data cd and it still works... trust me you will be very pleased with your purchase...
