Question about alarm
Question about alarm
Hi,
I was just wondering if anyone knew whether the alarm system was armed after pressing the lock button once. I hate the loud horn sound after pressing the lock twice. I think the system might be turned on after one and the second one is a check to verify the system status. Any thought? Thanks in advance.

But if you really want to test:
From the outside of the car, roll the windows down then hit the lock button once. Now pull the manual lock up and see if it goes bloody crazy. (the lock/unlock button thing on the top of the door)
I accidently did this the other night and wont be trying it again.

I thought I was the only one who did that.

Actually it happened due to the auto-locks. I was cleaning the interior in the garage and I can't remember the exact sequence of events, but it ended up locking itself with the windows down then the fun began.....
Girlfriend came out saying "what the hell is going on!"
I'm sure the neighbors appreciated it at 10:30pm too ... hehe
