hey...im thinking of getting 2 12 L5's in my 03 tls...i want them to be loud, like people being able to hear it/feel it while i drive by...but i still want so SQ..do you guys think this will deliver decent SQ? if not..what would you recomend that fits those requirements...also i'm not sure what amp to match up with those..i hear i need alot of power...im looking for a 2 channel..and ideas?...also..should i get a farad cap?...and do you think all that would void my warrentee at all..casue thats what im afraid of?...also..would i need to change my alternator or battery for an application like this...i dont really want to..agian..becasue im afraid of voiding my warrentee...
also i live in livingston nj (essex county) i was wondering if anyone knows any good shops around here that arent to expensive..but give good work..i want a shope that maybe had some experience with TL's so they no the best ways to run wire and stuff like that.

also does anyone have custom enclosures/installations? what was the relative costs of you intalls in terms of parts?...labor?

I have a single L5 that turns heads. I have one 12 powered by a Fosgate power 550s. I am alll about sound quilty and the L5 does a good job. It keeps up wit quick techo beats and drops low wit the bass boost for rap. When I had a Punch 500s amp it wasnt so clean and when I moved up to the 550 power it made a huge differ in sound quilty. IF you get 2 get and if u want a 2 channel amp u can get a power 1050s or get a single channel kicker 1200.1 and run a 1 farad cap but I would just replace the factory battery and get a cap.
Have no regrets and always will buy kicker subs.

too much power for ya??? try the 800.4 bridge that puppy to 2 channels and be blown away by the 400x2 that it will be pumping out....!!!:p

ok..i dont quite understand..i want to run both subs on a single amp..so im gonna need a 2 channel right?..or can i do it on the 1200.1? and the farad cap..if i get that?..will i need to get a new battery. i also plan to have neons and strobes whci hi wont run all the time..but if i were to run all of them..do you think i'd drain my battery?

You can run both woofer on one channel. Audio stuff inst as simple as it looks. you will need to get dual 4 ohm woofers and u can wire wire the woofers to a 4 ohm or a 1 ohm load. I would get a battery if I were u. That is gonna be my next invesment. well any more help let me know i need to cut it short casue I scraped my car againt the garage door so i need to get rubbing compound and then might as well wax it tonight. What a way to spend friday night.

ok...so for 2 12inch L5's....if i use only i amp..how many watts should i get and how many channels 1 or 2?....or...just tell me what is the best amp for those two subs.

ok..by dual 4 ohm...do you mena dual voice coil?...and how would i got about wiring this?...i hvae to send power to both coils? does that mean each coil is half the rated rms of the woofer?

i have 2 L7s with 700 to each from alpine v12 as much bass as the car can handle, nemore and **** starts to rattle about 1200 for all

OK if u get a 2 channel amp i can wire both woofer in series to a 8 ohm load each then in parallel and to 4 ohm and bridge it. Or you can get a 1 channel amp that is stable at 1 ohm and wire the woofers in parallel to a 2 ohm load and again in parallel to 1 0hm.

thanx...i've checked your website and it looks good i'll probably contact you thru email sometime...but off the top of your head...could you suggest a good combination (subs/amps/enclosure) that will have good SQ and beable to be felt by people when i drive by...i bassically want everyone to feel the bass...thanx...oh..my budget is like 1k-1.5k....i can go higher if you can show me something good...but i'll contact you later and see....right now im looking for a rough sketch of what i could possibly do
