ps2 install...
I had a ps2 installed in my glovebox(1st gen CL) by the local stereo shop...(glovebox stays permanately open b/c of clearance issues)
However it doesnt seem to work at the 45 degree angle its in...
anyone have any ideas?

i agree i would take it out of your glove box and put it under the seat or something.
that shop did a real bad job, it looks like they also cut the back out of your glove box.

The shop didn't do that good of a job on the install... and the reason why it doesn't work is probably because the DVD reader in the PS2 can't read CDs at a 45 degree angle.
I suggest mounting your PS/2 somewhere else... Like the TRUNK, and run a few extension cables, or get yourself the PS ONE (it's TINY) and install that instead and be able to close the glovebox...
Or even BETTER yet, take your PS2 out of the car, open it up (remove the black casing) and I'm sure you'll have enough space to close the compartment. Won't be pretty, but it'll be nicer than the way it is now.
