Profile California amps

ok guys... I want honest opinions on these amps. my cousin had these amps hooked up to his speakers and solo baric for years virtually trouble free and im thinking about getting them. opinions?

my friend has one in his jeep and it knocks the hell out of kenwood 10s.i had one a while ago and it pussed my kenwood 12s with no trouble

I feel that you get what you pay for. If they are cheap then go ahead and get them. They will push alot of speakers, but when it comes down to it you will need more watts out of the california profile amp then from a brand name amp. For example 500 watts of a rockford amp or a PG amp will definately sound better than 500 watts of california profile, but maybe 1000 watts of california profile will be almost as good as 500 watts of the others. Also clarity is an issue. Make sure to check the THD%

Profiles arent the greatest in the world...they are decent for the price, i go with Crossfires..they are about the same price but IMO they are way better.

subs sure.. because bass in itself is a type of distortion so distortion will be hidden. but I wouldn't trust it on say, my front component speakers that will play clearly any bit of distortion.
