Unhappy Problems with aftermarket setup

So recently I changed my Bose System to aftermarket...
Long story short, I can't adjust my headunit or amp to sound good or better then stock system. I have Pioneer Premier DEH-P780MP headunit with 6 1/2 front (comp) Infinity spekares and JBL's rears (comp) power it up from Pioneer GM-6200F amp. Plus OEM Sub on OEM amp. Everything sound like shit, and 16 band EQ just make it more confused - too much highs almost no mids, lows are ok. Also: I dont know how to setup a gain option on the amp, better have loudness option on or of, etc
If you have any ideas please help me, I`m considering to go back to stock system...

It's probably best to keep it simple for you. Don't use the equalizer, turn off loudness. Just try to tune the gain on the amps as best as possible.
