PROBLEM: How do I "trick" my aftermarket screen?

Hi, I'm trying to install my aftermarket indash screen and I can't get it to play dvds. Music works, but not dvds. How do I "trick" the headunit into thinking the parking brake is on so that I can play dvds while driving? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

And oh yeah...would anyone who had an Eclipse AV3423 indash..happen to know where to hook up the subwoofer in the brain? I see fronts, rears, and non-fader? What is non-fader?

just install an in line switch that the parking brake wire is getting a grounded signal... that is the quick way to do it... some unit won't accept a constant ground going to the parking brake wire so just install a switch...

what model do you have???

it hooks to non-fader.. since u don't want the sub to be affected by the fader... good luck...
