this guy goes over a lot of stuff with diagrams .. I figured out how to make a simple crossover and set up relays from here. much info to be found might come in handy for us non iggy or southbound types who don't carry all their knowledge in our heads.

Thanks for the compliment. I admit that I usually have trouble reading sites like this because of the multitude of mis-information. However, this guy seems to know what he's talking about. He puts most of it in a good form for both laymen and professionals. I agree that it's a great resource of basic audio information. Thanks for the post. I've bookmarked it.
