I once saw someone had a 3 prong power outlet (dont know the true name) (like you see in your homes)in there car. I was wondering if anyone knew who has it and if there are any pics. Also is there a DIY to hardwire it...

 

its called a power inverter, you can buy one at wal mart ready to go, just plug it into your cigarette lighter

 

I remember seeing one in the ash tray in the back of the center console... I can find the pics...

 

yeah thats easy to hook up. www.crutchfield.com probably has step by step instructions if you want to take a look. or I can sum it up...

connect power wire
connect ground wire
mount the inverter where you want it
