Polk db65

My 6 month old Polk GXR6 door speakers developed a problem in the voice coil. Took it back to CC and they gladly exchanged them for the Polk db65. Paid a difference of $6.23. I did not have the service plan either. Now my music is great again.

as long as the manufactuer warranty is valid, then they HAVE to help you, by law, as long as the problem falls into the manufacture'r guidlines....just fyi.

They first told me that it would be sent in for repair and I would need to wait for it to be sent back. I d d not want to go without front speakers while waiting on the repair. The saleman basically told me if I purchased another set with the service plan then they would apply the cost of the GXR6 to the cost of the db65. Sounds like I got corraled into buying a service plan. Oh well, live and learn.

Thanks for the heads-up.

how long is the service plan? 2 or 4 years?

look at it like this: everytime you blow your speaks, you get a new pair! once the new model comes out, blow your speaks and get the new pair for free!

hahaha, i still do this all the time, in fact its almost time for my amp to blow!

you didnt get duped though, you only paid a few bucks for the plan, and now you have the satisfaction that whenever something goes wrong, you dont ahve to pay! EVER!
