Some of you know that I have recently decided to purchase a sound system for my TL...I hooked up with preludeshfan(Kevin) and bought a dual 10" Powermouse box, MTX amps, MB Quart speakers from him. He custom builds the box(he owns a patent on the box design, it's that good) and has designed the subs himself using software...the subs are made in the same factory as Eclipse subs(high quality)...these subs that he manufactures are called RMS subs and IMO are the best subs out there for clear hard bass...these subs hit hard!!...so I have been waiting for the whole system to be built and shipped(getting excited) but I just recently have gotten myself into some bad financial situations where I need the money back from Kevin and being the honest and stand-up guy that you'll ever meet, he refunded me back all the money within minutes of chatting with him on AIM...The purpose of this post is to let everybody know that if your interested in a sub sytem that can compete with JL and other high-end brand subs in a custom, quality built box, than check out his stuff on his website www.rmscaraudio.com Kevin is someone who you can trust and sells quality products. i have also talked to him about these subs...they sound from him to be great speakers and of coure with great speakers you get that great price...heheh but yeah i would vauch for his politeness and businessman like conduct anytime.....

not from this board but i have several from others.
i can tell you this though. i have a customer in NY that bought one from me. his is the one pictured on the site here that says "HONDA" and "ACCORD" on it. he took the box to a local shop in NY called Precision Audio. i dont know a lot about them but i understand they do a lot of custom stuff as in big high end system n expensive cars. my point being they have seen it all and done it all.
anyway back to my story my customer went there to get it installed and they had a lot of questions at first. the were very interested in the lighted covers, then very suprised at the price. after the next day my customer went to get his car and the manager was all smiles telling the customer he was going to love the new box. apparently they had taken some time to test out the system with various types of music. the manager had all kinds of nice things to say about it and asked for the information as to where to find me.
the manager and i have talked about selling my products in their store. we are working out some dealer pricing as soon as he gets the ok from the shop owner.
my point is basically if they are a high end shop and were impressed that much with my box you can imagine how good it really is.

BTW i just asked my customer "greg" to write somthing on my behalf to answer your question he said he would regester and post.

 

Sounds great. The best of luck to you. I love it when the small guy blows away the big ones. Do you post on the major car audio forums? I bet if you post your info, you''ll find lots of interest. A lot of great audio products are those not advertised but rather gain momentum by word of mouth and thru the more popular forums. Good luck.

 

i currently post on about 6 fourms mostly honda ones. i just dont have the time to establish myself on other boards. i feel a little funny going in with 1 post and then talking up my stuff it looks too much like im just trying to sell my stuff there my hope is that my customers will spread the word

 

Hey everyone I am a recent customer of Kevin who just bought a dual power mouse from him for my accord coupe. Like you have all said, he is a very good business person to talk to and very easy to talk to about all sorts of car audio stuff. From the beginning I was very interested in his products just from what he had to say about them. I never really distrusted what he boasted about his products but without hearing it in person you just dont know for sure. Well, after finally getting around to ordering the box along with the amps, I was absolutely amazed after have them installed by my local audio shop Precision Installations. As soon as I walked into the shop that day the audio man saw me and said you're gonna love it". So i went out and cranked it up right in the parking lot. Couldnt believe it! This box hit amazingly low and extremely hard. At the time the liscense plate fram was rattling so hard I had to end up taking it off. The spoiler vibrates so hard when its cranked I'd say about 3/4's that it seems as it it could crack. I honestly haven't even put the subs to their highest point yet only because its just to loud to do around local houses and what not. The subs preform honestly just how kev says and the box looks sick too! People have never seen something where the ethcing lights up like that. Very unique and I have very pleased with the business we have done so far
