Ok here is the deal I have 4 Apline 4 ohm subs and I need an amp to push them. I want to stick with an alpine amp but which one? I also need a new amp to push my 6.5 and 6x9 door speakers. Any amp suggestions would be wonderful! Thanks guys!

 

I bought a 4 Channel Alpine Amp, I think is the 340. This amp is driving a set of Infinity Kappas 6.5 component in the front and a set of 6x9 in the back. I had to twek it down because it was too much. Yes, it is that clear and powerful. I know that there is a mono amp from Alpine for subwoofers, My suggestion is to go to Circuit City, listen to it (ussually in stock) and then go order it on-line as prices are much cheaper. Sorry I don't remember the model numbers but if you go to Circuit City they tend to be the only Alpine amps that they carry. Just ask for the 4 channel and the mono 2 channel amps.

 

What Alpine subs? The Type-R, Type-S or another model? What are the specs..like RMS rating?
