Placement of a Line Driver
Does it matter where a line driver is placed? For instance, in my wife's 06 Accord, I have 2, 8" Bazooka's. One of them is powered, the other is a slave that runs off the powered one. Since I'm just running off of the rear deck speaker lines, the signal is very low. I want to place the line driver back there since its easily accessable and I have all the wiring requried.
So I'm just wondering if it will boost the signal just as good as if it were up front next to the HU. Thanks.

What kind of line driver do you have?
Do you have RCAs going into the bazooka tube?
Putting it close to the bazooka tube will be just fine. It might even be a little better there since you're amplifying the output right before it goes to your Bazooka tube input. Putting it in the back should also help keep it from picking up ground noise, just make sure you have a good ground.

Ok, well thats good news! I installed this a while ago, and just recently the wife complained that her system dosent sound like mine So I need to get those 2 8"'s to hit harder. Which I know they can because I used to have them in my old truck. Though that was with a Clarion HU, hooked up with RCA's so Im sure the signal was much stronger. That's what I think I need here...
See, in my TSX I have it setup where the LD is right next to the HU, with RCA's heading back to the amp in the trunk.
