well i have a couple friends with that same unit.... (7300dvd) i use to own it as well.. about half of the people i know with it have had to send it in at least once... so you be your own judge... and after the way pioneer treated me when i had to send mine in 3 seperate times for 3 seperate troubles i would not put another one of there products in my car if they paid me to... as for the picture quality they are very close... personally i did like the gui on the 8000 brain but i hear the new alpine is suppose to be better... but to be honest if i had the money i would go with eclipse over all of them... in my opinion the eclipse unit has a better picture, easier interface and overall better quality sound...
oh and by the way randomwalk101 i dont talk out of my @$$ i speak from personally experiences... i would not down a product just from something i hear i test them out my self and make my own judgement...

I wonder where you can get AVIC-90DVD alone for lowest price?

I have the exact unit your looking at purchasing i paid 2000 for the complete unit and 200 for the install with amps and subs and all. So far sounds great and the nav works well. One problem is if u have a dvd in the time will not be correct untill you stick in the nav disk, its like some sort of flaw. Next problem is that when the unit is closed their is no way to change the radio or cd station unless you have the steering wheel remote and it gets to be a pain in the ass, I think if i could go back i would get the clarion touch screen 935. While i hear kenwood is awesome too i went for the bang for the buck and all and all i cant complain. Movies are fun to watch and people always turn thier heads.
