I just heard the new for 2005 AVIC-N2 will not play movies while the car is moving. In the past you could trick the units so they would play while you drove. But the new AVIC-N2 has built into it a gyro and when it senses the vehicle exceeding three miles per hour it shuts off the screen. Plus if you get the new mapping software for your AVIC-N1 it will update the unit so it won't work.

I am planning on geting this unit to replace my AVIC-N1. Anyone hear how the NavTraffic interface is? If I am correct, XM has traffic channels for a lot of the major cities. I wonder if it is worth paying extra for the NavTraffic.
