Well, it's official. My headlights are turning pink. The passenger side light actually flickered to very pink - and back to whitish/pink. I know that this happens to HIDs as they get older, but it's very annoying. I think this has greatly been accelerated by the fact that I park in a highrise indoor parking garage for work and turn my lights on every time I enter and leave the garage. I try to keep them on for several mintues before I turn them off though.

Is there anything that can be done so they will not degrade so fast? I really don't want to shell out $300 for new bulbs every 2 years to get rid of my cars case of "pinkeye."

Where's the best deal on HID bulbs? BTW - I'm sticking with 4100k (more lumens!)...

I looked at his history and all this guy sells is HID bulbs and retrofit kits.

Well, after reading a bit I decided that the problems that I was having were temporary.

I took a longer trip and kept the lights on the whole time. The pink thing is gone.
