Parrot v. Motorola?

I hope this topic hasn't been posted before. I tried searching for it. I was just wondering what people thought was better, the Parrot bluetooth car kit w/ color LCD display CK3200 or the Motorola Bluetooth® Car Kit IHF1000?

I have worked with both, and I far prefer the Parrot with display.

I should note that I hate voice control. The Moto has better voice control than the Parrot, but it has no display, and I prefer the display to the voice, which I turn off.

We have had a 3100 in our TSX for 6 months and I love it. The white and blue display matches the TSX dash very well.

The only problem is that the 3200 is "portrait" shaped and the 3100 B&W display is a better fit with its "landscape" shape in many cars.

when you say that the moto has better voice control, is it a night and day difference? or does it just lack some of the features of the moto unit? the parrot display is appealing to me, but i do value the voice control feature. any thoughts?

Yeah. Voice sucks.

The Moto does not require training. The Parrot does, but should work with the voice control in your phone if you have it.

I'm just tryin to make an informed decision... So with the parrot, i couldn't say "Call _____" or "Dial 5-5-5-5-5-5-5"? I have a moto razr and am pretty sure it doesn't have voice commands built in. thanks for your help.

elduderino, thanks for the input. I'm bidding on the Parrot on ebay. As soon as I can I'll post some pics of the finished install.
