Does anyone know anything about this HU (pannasonic CQ-VAD7300U). Some one is selling it pretty cheap, I was wondering if it is any good. Thanks

 

If it's the one I'm thinking about the only downside to it is 2.5 volts preout on the sub and speaker rca's. If your not planning on amping speakers or running a killer system then it really don't matter. If you are then the 8300 is the way to go. Both are the same thing except the preout voltage are different.

 

Honestly I'm not into crazy loud systems. I like the stock 03 system on the TL-S. I just wanted to add the Flip out screen HU. So if that is the case, than you feel that this is a good buy? He is selling it slightly used for $500. he is upgrading to the eclipse unit.

 

Actually I may be wrong, the units have different letters and the same numbers. If this unit is a flip out screen with dvd it is well worth it, depending on the model year. It sounds like a 2004 model to me, not sure if they had the same model numbers before '04 or not, I know for sure it's not '05. If it's just cd then no. I myself would never switch to Eclipse. Seen way to many problems and alot of people switching to Panasonic or JVC.
