Panic keeps going off!

I'm pretty new to this forum, I'm from NY and I just got a 2000 TL a few months ago. For some reason, out of nowhere, the panic alarm has been going off every 15 minutes now. It eventually got to the point where I ended up taking out the horn relay because it was disturbing to my neighbors. Now, the lights just flash. I've checked both remotes and the panic button is not jammed on either, and I haven't hit anything that would shift any wires. Has anyone had this problem before, and can someone help? I appreciate it!

keep the battery out of both remotes. This happen to me years ago and the source was a faulty remote. Try that and let me know what happens

I swear I have an 04 eclipse as my ED driver and the same thing has been happening to me. Except mine only does it in the cold weather. starts happening to me when it gets around 35-40 degrees outside. Mine has gotten better over the years though. I do the same thing with my car, I take the horn fuse out from under the hood and my lights flash.

My problem, as yours, probably lays alot deeper than a faulty remote. My car goes off when the remote would not be near it. Like coming out of the mall when my remote is no where in range of the car. I wish I could help you out, but I need an answer for myself as well. I just think its the keyless entry module. I just never wanted to be bothered getting the keys reprogrammed to tell you the truth.

one probably got wet then...
also just making sure the remotes are out of range of the car, should do it too, but battery removeal would make sure they are completely not functioning though

but also OP, does the door open lights come on any, say when you are driving down the road, like if a door is not staying fully shut?

Maybe your car just misses you?

lol all great suggestions. I actually just got a Viper car starter installed, and I put the horn relay back in, and so far there hasn't been any problem. Hopefully it stays that way, could have been the remote, maybe a wiring problem, im not sure, I just hope it doesn't reoccur. THanks for the help though!
