Painting XM Commander antenna
I'm thinking of mounting my XM Commander antenna in about the same place as where the XM antenna on the TL is. I think it would look much better if the antenna matched the car.
Would it be possible to get the same reception if I painted the antenna? Also, I have a touch-up pen...would that work?
Thanks in advance!

I guess I should re-word my question now.
I went onto XMFan.com and they said that it can be done, but it has to be non-metallic paint.
So the queston is...Do Acura touch-up paint pens use metallic paint and are they the right thing to be using to do this job?
Thanks again...

I guess it depends on if the paint on your car is metallic or not... the touch-up pen will be metallic if the paint it's matching is metallic...
Since your sig says Black, I'd say you're OK. If you were Carbon or Silver I'd say no.
