Pain to Dynamat

I bought a roll of dynamat and a can spray of dynashield and it was a pain to do... I did my trunklid and covered up all the hole by the trunk light. I sprayed the whole bottom rear deck. anyone else tried that. Also did the back of the trunk and than ran out of it. THe trunk lid is much more heavy and when u pop it wit the remote u can barly tell its open. Just thought I would let everyone know.

The trunk lid torsion springs have two settings. Check to make sure yours is set to the most powerful. If you had someone install a spoiler, they may have set it up already, tho. Check the manual for details.

I'm gonna check the manual for info on the torsion springs, I didn't know they had two settings. I get on the head every time I grab something out the trunk!
As far as dynamat, its improved my sound quality and reduced some rattling(i.e. its still there but not as loud) but still annoying. I'm following shawhite and randomwalks advice on just getting in the trunk with my bass turned up and fixing the source of the rattling.

Have you adjusted those rubber bumper on the trunk lid? It makes huge difference.
