PAC AUX-POD for ipod

PAC AUX-POD Auxiliary Input For iPod
http://store.yahoo.com/logjam/pacauxpod.html

Can anyone explain what the difference is between this and Blitzsafe Adaptor? I would like to install my 3rd gen ipod with highest quality and be able to control tracks and volume with my steering wheel. If anyone knows instruction on how to do this, please let me know. Thanks

Don't think anyone here has installed one of these yet. The blitzsafe simply gives you an aux in for any audio you want to add. The pac looks to be specific for the ipod and actually controls the ipod which is what you want to do. The blitzsafe won't control anything but the volume. I am sure many people here would like to here your success with this so take pictures and post after you do it. It looks to install just like the blitzsafe does so look here for instructions on how to install it.

so you are saying the blitsafe won't control anything but the volume thru steering wheel?
And look where for insturction on how to install it?
Does this PAC provide better sound quality than blitzsafe? I'll be satisfied as long as I get same sound quality as if I was listening straight from my ipod.
I'm calling the store tomorrow to make sure if it'll do everything that i want it to do and if it works then i'm gonna purchase it... Seems like it's worth it..

Use the search function for this forum put my name in there and blitzsafe and it should narrow the search down a bit.

The blitzsafe only controls the volume. The sound quality should be the same as it is from the blitzsafe.
