P.I.E. Auxiliary Input Converter

Has anybody tried using this? I e-mailed Car Toys about the SNHOND3, and they said that this one would work.

Here's the site for it: http://www.pie.net/aux_appl_honda.htm

The person from Car Toys said it's $60 + tax.

Thanks!

I don't know. The stereo shop tried to sell me that same one. The plug is the same.

I opt'd for the snhond03 because I have Navi and had the instructions from mojo's install.

oritz,

I've heard of NAVI crashes with the SNHOND03... have you experienced this?

My NAVI has never crashed. But if it does I post a thread on this forum to let everyone know.

If you do the SNHOND03/NAVI install make sure you make a good connection and insulate it well.

Oritz,

Does the SNHOND03 permit your iPod to be controlled via the stock stereo controls (console/steering wheel), or is it just to provide the AUX connection?

No, the stock controls do not work. If you want the stock controls you will have to buy an ICElink.
