overkill?!?

i just got 2 12"w3's for the back of my acura. this is my first non german car and i just had one question. i'm planning on powering these subs with a 500/1 jl amp. dynamat will be installed in the car along with these subs. my question is can glass paneling in acura's handle that kind of wattage? i'm i using to much power for these subs? what else will rattle that i would have to deaden? i hate seeing a trunk or anything else on a car rattle when a sub is in the back. thanks alot for the help.

well u will get rattles. I had 2 12 W3v2 and the trunk was kinda outta control, now I have one 12w7 which really didnt make that big of a differ. I kinda think I wasted money on it.

You can never have enough power for the subs, the 500/1 will power them perfectly.
I think two 10's would be enough and I seriously urge you to look at Boston's Pro Series subs; clean and accurate bass and very efficient. They have been bulletproof in my set-up and bettered many of the subs from JL in my car.
