Hi everyone I petty much got everything for my new system in 03Tls..
Need Opinion on Which Amp to get!
I will be Running Kicket Solo Baric (2) 12" L7's ....which amp should I get..either Rockford Bd1000 (Which i had in my previous Tl with 2 L5's souded awsome) or Jl audio 1000/1 Amp ..

Both of those i am getting it for $300 EAch used in excellent condition !
If anyolne have experiance with any of this stuff please guide me to right direction!

How are you wiring the subs together?

I would get the JL 1000/1 as it is 1000 watts at 1.5-4ohms. But the BD amps are beasts too.

Either would do i guess haha.

 

my install guy will do all the work i have no clue how to do wiring ! I had bd1000 with L5's 2 of them and they pound real good! as Bd1000 is true 1500RMS

 

Personally, if you can find one, I'd go with a Sundown Audio SAZ-1000D. They're rated at 12.6V, so they'll do similar power to the bd1000, and are much more efficient. Now, since you said you're having someone do your install, they're probably going to try to tell you that Sundown is garbage and flea market crap, but if you look at competitors, you won't find many running RF power, and even fewer running JL amps, compared to many (probably 50+) running Sundown amps. Just a thought, and a suggestion...

If that's not an option, go with the Rockford. Their straight up beasts, but they do need some battery back-up...
