for those of you that bought amps, subs, speakers, decks, whatever, online, do you get the manufacterer's FULL LIFETIME WARRANTY? for example, i want to get an alpine amp. would i get the full manufactere'rs warranty?

i know some bought a amp off ubid. what did you get for the warranty? how long. thanks.

 

You only get full manufactures warranty if they are authorized dealers of that product. If they are not you will only get instore warranty which varies from 30-90 days.

 

alright. what if they say it comes in the original box with full manufacterers warranty? lie?

 

if you buy the amp online you only get the retail warranty on the items. it is the same warranty you get if you only buy an amp from a stereo store. To get the lifetime warranty you must have a certified installer install the unit as well as buy from a stereo store.

I have not checked but you might be able to get the full warranty if you have a certified installer put it in your car.
