OK BassLink Pics are up

For Caddy, & anyone else who wanted some. I only have 2, but you can see how much space the BassLink takes up.

Some don't like it, & want bigger setups, that have more pounding bass. I like it. It pounds just fine when setup right. It's not the most accurate bass, but it does just fine. Mine gets plenty loud from the drivers seat. I think it's a good match to the stock setup. You have to remember that the stock setup isn't that great, & too much bass will drown out the highs beacuse the stock system doesn't have enough power. If I was replacing everything with new stuff, I would get something else.

Infinity Basslink

Nice setup. I also like the silver mudflaps. I will consider trying that. Sophisticated look.

I put my Basslink by the little tray on the left side of the trunk looking in.

kroqilitant,

Which way is the front of the woofer facing? Towards the jack?

The Infinity Logo faces the Jack...so yes...the woofer faces the jack.

The bass sounds very clear & deep from this location. I think the Basslink complements the existing BOSE Blows system well.

Regards,

Thanks for the input guys. I just purchased a Basslink also. As soon as I get it, I'll install it myself and test it out. Cross your fingers on the install.

JasonT and kroqilitant,

since you guys have the Basslink sub, do you drive with the ski access door up or down? Will it make a difference?

Aaaahhh! Thanks for reminding me... I've been meaning to try that. I've been riding with it closed.

Something I'll have to do today! I'll let you know.

Cool! How is the BassLink wired up? (I'm kinda a car audio newbie...)

I've got a lease and this sounds like a really good option for slightly improving bass response without taking up trunk space on AHFC's car.

(I was also looking at the RSX-S spare tire sub; but after Soopa's and others comments, I don't know now...)

Nah.. Leave the entry door closed.

The sound from the Bose 6x9's sound a bit hollow coming through that opening.

The Bass response sounds a little different..but can't tell if its better or worse..

Leave it closed is my vote.
