Question Oil dripping from Crankcase hose or ?

I have a 1996 TL 3.2 that I recently purchased. Great car, etc. I noticed a hose connected to the passenger side bottom block( crankcase?) that runs up to top of engine and just stops--hose has open hole that oil is dripping out...The hose runs thru two white clips and then that is it--where is the hose suppose to connect to--I can't find a loose hose anywhere and it is driving me crazy--too say the least.
