Noob in search of help

im a noob with audio and all so i was wondernin if you guys can help me out whats the best brand for audio wires ??

dls makes good wires....another company would be something like audioquest. they dont have car audio wires, but you can still use the home wires. i may go that route, but im still not sure. thoes are not the best but they are pretty good. what do you have in mind so far?

Most of the major brands are all very good and almost no difference except the color. Any brand like Streetwires, Rockford, Phoenix Gold, EFX will work fine. You can get Streetwires stuff pretty cheap thru partsexpress.com. For RCA patch cables, just make sure their twisted and shielded. I have always used Streetwires Zero Noise cables in my cars.

I bought all my stuff from www.knukonceptz.com and their stuff is really worth it and cheap also compared to other companies

what are you trying to wire up? The speakers or power wire also?

the amp is 2ch x 450 i have 2 12" audiobanh subs

if you are just powering 1 amp then 4 gauge to the trunk from battery should be plenty... then run 12 gauge from the amp to the subs and you should be set. Just make sure to get an inline fuse for the 4 gauge from battery to the trunk.
