Crutchfield Advisor has tons of great information. It will tell you everything you need to know about all the components, what they do, how to hook them up, and how they connect/interact with each other. They have great wiring diagrams.

If you buy anything from them you get vehicle specific instructions, and free phone tech support (they will talk you through the whole install if you want).

That is very good advice. I purchased a Kenwood unit from Crutchfield with adapters (wiring and faceplate). The instructions were clear and it kept me from having to cut any factory wiring. Their site will also let you sort by which products will fit your particular vehicle.

Cardomain does the products that fit as well, dunno if their support is the same, since I do all my own work.
