Noob headunit question

I currently have a clarion vrx745 headunit in my car, i want to put the stock headunit back in. Can i hook up my amp and subs to the factory headunit and install and ipod?

i need to know this info before i put my headunit i have now up for sale, just want to make sure its all doable.
