TL: No upper display for radio

No upper display for radio
Hello i have a 04 tl navi but no cd changer in trunk..the radio is only allowing the anti theft light on...my upper display works for climate control but code for radio does not come up EVER...i have the code for radio but still no luck when I try to punch code in...ONLY THE CLOCK STAYS ON .please help
