Wink No need to add an amp in self-powered sub is installed? Newbie that needs reassurance

I posted an earlier topic but doing more research, I learned that I could just add a self-powered amp by hooking them into the existing bose subs speaker inputs. Can anyone confirm and add suggestions? Thanks

You still have to run the power cable to the battery, a groud wire and a remote turn on. If your self-powered sub has speaker level inputs, then you do not need a line-out converter.
